Our trail, named “Udha e Shkronjave” honors his 1800s voyage, where he traversed these mountains with mules laden with the letters of the alphabet – a true treasure of the Albanian culture.
An Expedition Through History and Biodiversity
This ancient route has now been revived by Korça Alpin into a six-hour trekking adventure, a remarkable journey stretching across a changing landscape – from dense forests to high ridges. With every step, you follow in Kavaljoti’s footsteps, feeling the weight of the words he carried and the vital role they played in the literary and cultural development of Albania.
